Tiny Factory approached us to create a vestibule for their new office space in downtown San Diego.

 

On our first visit to the site, we were struck by the shapes and connections of the exterior metal screen. Using this as our focal point, we thought of creating a parametric wall to connect the studio in the back and the reception space in the front. The installation of translucid materials became iconic amongst the San Diego downtown retail space. The methods of fabrication reflected the company’s vision of technology. We invited our friends from the M. Arch to collaborate on the fabrication.
