BENCH

Location: Inside Colectivo

 

The task was to reimagine two cinema benches that were created as a part of the mobile film festival inside Colectivo.

 

We used one basic element as the only item to form two seating benches. Conceptually to fold (and unfold) to create an undefined series of malleable activities.

 

The folding (and unfolding) of a 2x12 piece of wood to create a bench evolved into shapes that dissolved the boundaries of the seating structures; a base and a seat.
